ProDG taps into Android tablets with TEB Sales Force

Turkish Economy Bank has partnered Pozitron to revolutionize their credit card application process with Pozitron's ProDG Finance Solutions. With TEB Sales Force App, representatives get credit cards applications on the go, assisting customers in a timely manner while reducing costs. Using this slick tool, representatives can fill in applications for the selected card, scan IDs and send the information to the bank's central system within seconds.


This innovative solution helps TEB’s sales force to make a difference on the field. TEB has been using Pozitron's BlackBerry solution since 2009.

Dünyanın birçok bölgesinde en hızlı büyüyen teknoloji şirketlerini belirlemek amacıyla düzenlenen Deloitte Fast 50, Türkiye’de yedinci defa teknolojinin liderlerini belirledi. Mobil dünyada yenilikçi yazılımlarıyla tanınan Pozitron yüzde 956 büyüme kaydederek önemli bir başarıya imza attı.

Bu sene yedinci kez gerçekleştirilen Deloitte Fast 50, teknolojinin lider kurumlarını bir kez daha kamuoyuna tanıttı. Fast50’de yüzde 956 büyüme oranıyla dokuzuncu sırada yer alan Pozitron, Avrupa, Ortadoğu ve Afrika (EMEA) bölgelerinde, en hızlı büyüyen 500 teknoloji şirketinin belirlendiği Deloitte Teknoloji Fast500 EMEA Programı’nda da değerlendirilmeye hak kazandı. İki yıl üst üste Deloitte Fast 50 ve Fast500 EMEA programına seçilen şirket, 2013 yılında genel cirosunun yüzde 50’sini yurt dışı yazılım ihracatından elde etmeyi hedefliyor.

Organized by Tusiad, From Creative Ideas to Innovative Enterprises Conference took place on November 12th. The conference was held in Istanbul Modern as a part of Istanbul Design Biennial. Bringing together Turkish entrepreneurs and successful businessmen, the innovative capacity of Turkish business was the center point of the conference.

Various successful entrepreneurs were invited to the conference to share the success story of their innovative businesses. As one of the invitees, our CEO, Fatih Isbecer, shared the story of Pozitron with other participants.

Mobile has become a new dimension of Retail world. To explain the newest technologies, showcase best practices and give tips on mobile commerce, our CEO Fatih Isbecer will give a presentation called "New Competition: Mobile Commerce! The playfield is expanding in retail".

Nokia Lumia 920 & 820

Last week, we have attended the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820’s launch at the Four Seasons Hotel. In the event both of the devices were introduced and displayed -CEO of Nokia Turkey and Microsoft Turkey were among the speakers that shared their excitement with the audience and the press.

The Nokia phones are now using Windows 8 OS in their phones;  With multiple colour option and Windows 8’s customizable features, there is a lot of room for personalization.  Furthermore with the features like PureView camera technology, navigation and improved augmented reality experience, Nokia aims to be one step ahead of its competitiors.

After the talks we had the chance to play with the new Lumia 920—the phone is fast and fun, has a great camera. The rest of the features can be mostly attributable to Windows 8- which is currently short on the application side. Considering the potential for growth of the Windows 8 applications , as well as Nokia’s brand awareness in Turkey, Lumia series is likely to attract some customers in the upcoming months

eTohum 3. Geliştirici Günleri: Sunucu Uygulamaları

eTohum kapsamında üçüncü ve sonuncusu düzenlenen geliştirici günlerinin konusu "Basics of Backend Development", 15 Kasım günü Özyeğin Üniversitesinde yapıldı. Pozitron ekibinden Mete Balcı, Erkin Ünlü ve Eren Bekar'ın konuştuğu etkinlikte mobil ve web için gereken sunucu tarafı yazılımları detaylandırıldı.

İlginin büyük olduğu etkinlikte, hem tecrübeli yazılımcılar hem de öğrenciler katılımcılar arasındaydı. Her kesime hitap edecek şekilde, yazılım geliştirmenin temel kurallarının yanı sıra sunucu uygulamaları ve entegrasyon gibi önemli konulara değinildi. Etkinlikte yapılan sunuma buradan ulaşabilirsiniz. Ayrıca önümüzdeki günlerde eTohum Tv üzerinden, etkinlik yayınlarını izleyebilirsiniz.

DLD Bosphorus: One Night in Istanbul

DLD (Digital-Life-Design) network’s global conference on innovation, digital media, science and culture session took place in Istanbul this year with the title “Digital Bosphorus.” In this event, Pozitron team was among the participants whom enjoyed meeting other DLDsters and talking about the potential growth of the Turkish market. In the series of conversations, most speakers pointed out the potential for growth of digital in Turkey, considering the adaptation of the changing technologies, existence of a young-dynamic population and competition among entrepreneurs. After the series of talks, the event ended with a networking session in the great view of the Bosphorus, in Istanbul Modern Museum.

Pozitron @ Geeks on a Plane

The Geeks on a Plane event that took place in İstanbul on November 3rd with the participation of Turkish entrepreneurs of the digital industry. Pozitron’s CEO Fatih İşbecer was among the entrepreneurs that spoke about personal experiences regarding the lessons he learnt about being an entrepreneur in Turkey. Furthermore speakers talked about the opportunities about establishing or growing a business in countries like Turkey.

Towards the end of event, “Start Up Olympics” took place where 8 start-ups pitched to the judges. The winners that took “500 Start-ups’” attention were Gideros Mobile and www.parlakbirgelecek.com
