Turkish Entrepreneurs Selected For US Presidential Summit

Five Turkish entrepreneurs reflecting diverse businesses from food delivery to high tech have been selected to participate in the US Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship. A global initiative launched by President Obama in Cairo in June 2009, the Summit initiative will get underway in Washington, D.C. in April 2010. Fatih İşbecer of Pozitron will be one of the attendees from Turkey. President Obama and other high-ranking US government officials will participate in the Summit.

Pozitron Attends the Global Entrepreneurship Week

Global Entrepreneurship Week takes place from 16 – 22 November 2009. It’s a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, with millions unleashing their enterprising talents and turning their ideas into reality.

Global Entrepreneurship Week in Turkey, hosted by Endeavor, realizes that the opportunities for young entrepreneurs should only grow in future years and aims to inspire young Turks to take business initiatives. A series of seminars on Nov. 19, at Koc University featured Fatih İşbecer, Pozitron's founder & CEO. Other well-known, successful entrepreneurs discussed entrepreneurship as a career option. The seminars were broadcast by Skyturk, a national Turkish TV channel.

IsCEP gets best Finance Application Award

Informatics Associations of Turkey (IAT) has been established in 1971 and currently have reached to five thousand members. IAT which is the oldest ICT association, is also the only institution in Turkey, which intends to embrace all information systems professionals as well as those other professionals who benefit from and associate themselves with information systems in any manner when performing their respective professions.

In its recent General Assembly held between 18-20 November in ANKARA, Turkey's ISBANK's İŞCEP application was chosen as the best Financial Application of the year.
