Endeavor Entrepreneurs Summit 2009 in Miami

As a selected high impact company, Pozitron attended the 2009 Endeavor Entrepreneurs Summit in Miami, Florida. This year Endeavor's world class network of entrepreneurs, Venture Corps and board members spanning four continents united in celebration of the Endeavor model. The theme of the event was "opportunity in crisis" where Endeavor people from all around the world discussed the possibility to create opportunities in a time of crisis.

The invitation only event reflected Endeavor's extended network and a range of issues relevant to High Impact Entrepreneurs, focusing on the current economic downturn and future opportunities.

Pozitron attends BlackBerry's WES 2009 in Orlando

ES (Wireless Enterprise Summit) is the premier event for anyone using BlackBerry technology today and an important part of any strategy to address today's economic climate.

As a solution provider plus for RIM's BlackBerry, Pozitron attended the WES and the partners Alliance Summit organised in May 4, 2009.

WES brought wireless visionaries, leaders and enthusiasts together from around the world for a common purpose: to explore what's new and learn the best ways to integrate new wireless technologies.

Ultimate Mobile Betting Application - Bilyoner V5

Developer of the world's first comprehensive mobile betting application, Pozitron released the Version 5 of Bilyoner.com Mobile.

First launched in August 2005, Bilyoner.com mobile betting application has had hundreds of thousands of downloads in the last four years. The mobile application of the popular game IDDAA initially offered soccer betting games to its users. Now the application offers Soccer, Basketball, Horse Racing and many other sports.

Other than mobile betting, the bilyoner application provides instant Live Scores data, betting transaction history, IDDAA rates, ready coupons, account balance check and money transfer to / from banks.

As one of the most sophisticated betting applications ever developed Bilyoner Version 5 currently supports Java MIDP 2.0 enabled phones. iPhone version of the App is expected to be released in June 2009.

New Mobile Banking Experience for Iphone Users!

Pozitron has released Turkey's Is Bank's mobile banking application ISCEP (işcep) for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch.

IsCep, the mobile banking application of Türkiye İş bankası (Isbank) launched in 2007, already among the world's pioneering and most sophisticated m-banking applications is now brought to iPhone & iPod Touch users with its rich graphical design and touchscreen user interface...

Mobile Banking on Iphone lets iPhone consumers manage their finances, including checking balances and transaction history, investment transactions, stock trading, foreign currency purchase/sale, transferring funds, receiving offers, viewing and paying bills and applying for loans.

FORTIS Bank Launches Sales Force Automation on BlackBerry

A Global financial brand Fortis' Turkey branch is active in Retail, Corporate and Merchant Banking and Asset Management. Having a SalesForce of over 100 agents, Fortis Turkey wanted to digitise its credit card application processing.

For this project Fortis Turkey chose Pozitron's cutting edge SmartForce SFA technology that guarantees a fast, reliable and secure automation solution. Now Fortis sales agents don’t have to search for a wireless network connection or head back to the office to upload customer information. All credit card application process is done on Pozitron's SmartForce solution that run on BlackBerry devices.

New Facebook application from AVEA, CepAjan

Being driven by a spirit of innovation, AVEA, the youngest operator of Turkey, has a nationwide customer base of over 12 million. Offering services to 95.3% of Turkey's population through its next generation network, the company is growing fast both in the corporate and individual services with the brand "AVEA".

Pozitron designed and built a facebook application called CepAjan for AVEA, allowing AVEA subscribers to follow their friends status updates, event notifications and birthday reminders on Facebook by receiving SMS messages. AVEA subscribers can also change their Status updates remotely by sending an SMS to AVEA's CepAjan shortcode.

OpenID mobile authentication service "Sifreyok" launches

Pozitron had recently announced that the company will offer an OpenID authentication service in collaboration with Turkcell and using Valimo's Mobile Signature technology.

OpenID, an open framework based on proven Internet technologies, enables users to consolidate their Internet identity, eliminating the need to create separate IDs and logins at all of the various websites, blogs, and profile pages they may visit in the course of their online session.

Pozitron speaks at the BlackBerry Customer Seminar

BlackBerry Customers Seminar is organised yearly by Research In Motion Turkey, to show RIM customers the solutions in the BlackBerry environment. Pozitron was invited to the event to feature its BlackBerry solutions & products. The seminar was held in the Movenpick Hotel in Istanbul. Among the invitees were BlackBerry solution providers, corporate BlackBerry users and Turkcell corporate sales managers. Pozitron mainly featured its IMB (mobile banking) product, along with its SoftKEY solution and SmartForce (Mobile SFA) product.

Columbia Business School IDC program works with Pozitron

This year 3 students from Columbia Business School have been invited to Istanbul to work with Pozitron, on streamlining the company’s product offering, sales strategy and marketing collateral. The Columbia Business School team worked remotely from New York with Pozitron over 4 months prior to working in the Pozitron office for 2 weeks.

Each semester, the International Development Club (IDC) of Columbia matches student teams with organizations around the world to work on over a dozen consulting projects. The aim is to put together teams that can apply the business thinking that we study at CBS to help organizations that work to improve lives across the developing world.
