Turkey's Mobile Banking Platform

The number of mobile banking users in Turkey has reached 1 million in 2011. These users performed almost 1.5 million financial and 2.5 million non financial transactions from March '11 to July '11. The monthly transaction volume on mobile banking platform has reached 500 million Turkish Liras and expected to increase gradually. Investment transactions are the most frequent activity with the highest transaction volume. In three months approximately 150,000 investment transactions were performed and the volume of these transactions were nearly 850million TL.

Pozitron speaks at the BlackBerry Customer Seminar

BlackBerry Customers Seminar is organised yearly by Research In Motion Turkey, to show RIM customers the solutions in the BlackBerry environment. Pozitron was invited to the event to feature its BlackBerry solutions & products. The seminar was held in the Movenpick Hotel in Istanbul. Among the invitees were BlackBerry solution providers, corporate BlackBerry users and Turkcell corporate sales managers. Finalist in the BlackBerry Innovation Awards

Pozitron’s mobile banking application Iscep developed for Is Bank became a finalist at the BlackBerry Innovation Awards that was held in Monaco. "Life On BlackBerry" category award was given to a partner company which developed the best application to the consumer segment. Wow factor, consumer appeal, ease of use, brand and strategy fit and product take up in the market were the main factors in the selection process. Pozitron's Iscep made it to the final three among dozens of applicants.
