Pozitron's forecast: "In the near future, the ratio of Mobile shopping to the total sales will reach the level of 8 percent."

Pozitron founder and Endeavor Entrepreneur Fatih Isbecer attended Endeavor Entrepreneur Forum by addressing the issue "How can we reach the customer through the mobile platforms?" In his speech, Isbecer explained the new generation's spending behavior and which alternative payment options that they prefer by giving examples from Turkcell Mobile Payment, Garanti Mobile Bank and similar applications: "The aim of the mobile applications is to enable people to continue on their current work and be mobile, at the same time to use various services that are provided. In 2012, the sales of smart mobile phones are expected to outnumber computer sales. Nowadays, world’s new trend is the movement of the current shopping experience to the mobile environment. Today, the ratio to the total sales are at the level of 1 percent, in the near future In the near future, the ratio of Mobile shopping to the total sales will reach the level of 7-8 percent."

TEBlackBerry App is finalist for the 2010 Financial World Innovation Awards

The Financial World Innovation Awards have been running for more than a decade recognising examples of the creativity, imagination and vision within the financial services industry. From early innovations in cashless payments and the introduction of security measures such as Chip and Pin to massive operations projects streamlining legacy systems, and mobile banking, the awards have gone from strength to strength, attracting entries from financial services organisations across the globe – they have celebrated winners from Kenya and South Africa, as well as numerous category winners and shortlisted entries from Australia to Pakistan to Turkey and Spain.

The finalists for the 2010 Financial World Innovation Awards have been announced and Pozitron is a finalist in "Enhancing Business Performance" category with Turk Economy Bank (TEB)'S Blackberry Application SFA Solution.

Representing Turkish Entrepreneurs at the Abraaj Capital Summit in Dubai

“Celebration of Entrepreneurship” (November 8-9) in Dubai, a landmark gathering of 2,400+ entrepreneurs, business leaders, and youth in the region. Hosted by Abraaj Capital, this free-of-charge “unconference” featured a full program containing hundreds of keynotes, roundtables, and interactive sessions. Participants, who dressed casually (“Suits and ties are not allowed”) to reflect the unconventional and relaxed atmosphere, had dozens of program options at any given time, and used wireless Spotme devices to navigate session info, locate fellow participants, and trade business cards virtually.

The event featured numerous announcements including the launch of Abraaj’s own Riyada Enterprise Development (RED), a $500 million SME investment fund, and its new online portal Wamda, designed to be the region’s definitive online portal and social hub for all things entrepreneurship.

The Abraaj-Endeavor alliance announcement was made on the main stage, following a joint interview with Endeavor co-founders Linda Rottenberg and Peter Kellner. Numerous Endeavor board members, VentureCorps mentors, staff, and Entrepreneurs attended and played prominent speaking and organizational roles in the Celebration event, including Naguib Sawiris (Chairman, Endeavor Egypt), Fadi Ghandour (Founding board member, Endeavor Jordan), and Gregory Ericksen (Global Advisory Board member).

Endeavor also hosted two “Passion Corners.” One session featured Mohamad Haj Hasan (Jordan), Ahmed Metwally (Egypt), Ali Özgün (Turkey), and Melih Ödemis (Turkey). Another session of Turkish Entrepreneurs featured Bedriye Hülya, Firat Isbecer, Başar Akpınar, and Yunus Güvenen, moderated by Selçuk Yorgancıoğlu from Abraaj Turkey.

Our SFA platform wins “Best Process Optimization” title at the BNP Paris Innovation Awards !

Innovation forms part of BNP Paribas' brand values, and every year the group celebrates this by making a number of Innovation Awards.

BNP Paribas promotes Responsible Innovation – innovation which results in genuine progress in the medium and longer term, both within the company and for the wider environment. Accordingly, in the 2010 series of Awards BNP Paribas has placed more emphasis on innovative activities with a bearing on corporate, social and environmental responsibility.

The winners in BNP Paribas Group’s 2010 series of Innovation Awards have been chosen from over 217 entries. In total, 24 Innovation Awards were presented to recipients in six countries by the end of October.

Pozitron's SFA solution was launched in March 2009 for Fortis Bank Turkey and in April for TEB accepting credit card applications via Blackberry devices instead of printed forms. This process is a cost-effective and time-efficient mobile solution that enables the sales team to identify and service prospective clients easily, while maintaining its focus on quality and speed. Runner-up in Finland’s Money Talks Pitch Forum !

MoneyTalks Forum in November 2010 is a two-day efficient matchmaking and networking event with focus on cutting edge mobile technologies. It is an event linking high-tech and innovation-based companies, corporations and international and Finnish investors. The event provides a possibility to book one-to-one-meetings between participating companies, corporations and venture capitalists.


9 companies attended the Forum and investor-targeted seven-minute company presentations were made. Pozitron was chosen as the second company in the forum, recieving feedbacks about the success of the company presentation. MoneyTalks Forum hosted an Israeli and Turkish business delegations to showcase their technologies, create valuable contacts and find new business opportunities.
